FAQ

Good tint starts with good information.

What is windshield protection film?

It is a clear exterior film installed over the windshield as a replaceable sacrificial layer. It is intended to help protect the factory glass from certain kinds of everyday road wear and light impact damage, though it cannot prevent every chip or crack.

Is windshield protection film the same as clear ceramic tint?

No. Clear ceramic tint is installed for heat and UV control, while windshield protection film is designed as an exterior protective layer. They serve different purposes.

Why choose ceramic tint?

Ceramic tint offers excellent heat rejection and UV protection while maintaining clarity and avoiding interference with common electronic signals.

How long does installation take?

Timing depends on the vehicle and the work requested. Most standard automotive appointments can be completed the same day. We will provide an estimate when you request a quote.

How long before I can roll my windows down?

Usually several days. Cure time can vary with temperature and humidity, so you will receive specific aftercare instructions at pickup.

Will there be bubbles after installation?

A light haze or small moisture pockets can appear during curing and typically disappear as the film dries. Large persistent bubbles should be inspected.

Do you offer a warranty?

Qualifying installations are backed by a lifetime warranty. Ask for full coverage details for your selected film.

Can you remove old tint?

Yes. We can assess failing, bubbling, faded, or damaged film and provide a removal-and-replacement quote.
